Shhhhhhhh — Chris Young Lookin’ Good

Young tossed another 3 innings and is now yet to allow an earned run this spring across 2 starts.

I’m hesitant to start believing because a pitcher who is coming off major surgery always feels like he’s just one arm tweak away from being lost for the season.

The thing is the upside Young possesses makes him super intriguing and that much scarier to start believing in.

But if Young has a healthy season ahead of him there’s no reason he can’t be the steal of the season.

I like the size the Mets have in camp, and I’m not talking about the towering pitchers Big Pelf and Chris Young.

Instead I’m digging the size of some of the young offensive players. Lucas Duda, Nieuwenhuis, Justin Turner, Brad Emaus…

Not sure any if these guys will have an impact this season but I feel like it’s been a long time since the Mets have had this many big dudes taking their cuts in the batter’s box.

I know what your talking about BMF! With the size of our pitchers and the other big boys, if the Mets were an NBA team, I believe we would have a better record than the 2011 baseball team will have….No problem with this team beating the New York Knicks or better yet the BROOKLYN Nets!

When can we expect Brooklyn Net Fan .com?

About as good as we can expect so far with the pitching staff.

I will begin the 10 day countdown TODAY for “GOODBYE OLLIE DAY”-Everybody gets a bobblehead doll at thw March 15th game of OP with his head chopped off!

F-Mart is off to a great start this sprng! I want to give him some loving and hope he makes the team this year, Although it will probably be (Hairston and Harris).

I am also hoping for Nick Evans and Brad Emaus!

Lets shake it up a bit and if all things are even up lets take the young guys this year since we are rebuiding and throwing away the year anyway.

I am heading to todays game vs the Red Sox!The Mets have doubled the ticket prices for this game. It should be very interesting as the game has been sold out for awhile and there is rain in the forecast.

Having said that I am sure it will take a near TSUNAMI or a flood of Noah’s Arch size for them to rain this game out.

I heard they are going to equip the players with masks and snorkels for the first five innings.

    LETS GO METS!!!!

    Rich,
It appears to be a quid pro quo with the Bosox….they doubled price for their match up with the Mets on st. Paddy’s Day…somewhat of a tradition I guess.
