A Team with 2 Aces
At this point I don’t think anyone can dispute the fact the Mets have a pair of aces. Santana is the obvious one, even though his season is nothing short of incredible considering he got No-No No. 1 and is this dominant coming off shoulder surgery.
RA Dickey is Ace number 2 who now leads MLB with 9 wins. He’s also now ripped off 24.2 straight scoreless innings and is arguably the best pitcher on the staff.
It’s almost impossible to anoint anyone besides Johan as best pitcher on the staff but of we’re in an elimination game I swear I’d take my chances with either guy.
Duda is roaring and just might be poised to abuse the yankees’ in their band box of a stadium Coors Field BX.
I’m glad we salvaged that W because we didn’t want to face the yanks having dropped 4 straight.
As for this weekend we can DEFINITELY win this series the only question is can this team execute and do it. Insay Yes.
I think these guys are so scrappy they aint afraid of no one!

If I’m met GM, I would get youk for prospects, cuz their 1B Ike Davis is struggling bug time hitting .160 it’s now June already! I put youk @ 1st! Send davis to minors!

^The Mets can send Davis to the minors without trading for an old, fat first baseman who has a slugging % under .400. Just move Duda to first, put Bay in LF and keep your prospects and organization flexibility. Trading for KY would be crazy.

At minimum, here’s what I’d like to see this weekend in the Subway Series:
-At least two Mets wins
-Duda to keep launching long balls
-Wright to keep crushing Yankee pitching
-Ike to awaken with drives to the short porch in right
-Bay to have the same success he’s had vs Yankees in the past
-Jeter’s 25-game hit streak in the SS end

if there’s one thing that i could wish for is either a broom stick weekend against the DamnYankees or at least 2of 3.
if there is one thing that makes me ill, it’s the thought of the the exact opposite.
