NY Football Giants!

This Jets fan couldn’t be happier to see the G-Men headed to the Super Bowl once again ready to slay the evil Patriots.

IMO there is NO WAY IN HELL the 49ers were beating Brady and Belichick.

Hopefully ANOTHER NFC Championship will help quiet those Giant fans who love to hate Tom Coughlin. Bitch and whine all you want but after 2 Super Bowl appearances in 4 years I don’t want to hear ANY COMPLAINING about your head Coach.

I am one of the few Giants/Mets/Rangers fans-thank God for the Giants and the Rangers-I would give up all the Giants Super Bowls for a Mets world series championship!

There is NO WAY I would give up the Giants win over the Patriots to ruin their undefeated year! I want a Mets Championship too but that was one of the best Super Bowl wins ever for a Giants fan.

Maybe Giants Fans can stop b!tching about Eli Manning…

I’ve been hearing fans complain about this guy after about two starts in his NFL career…They expected him to instantly become as good (or even better) than his older brother. The fact is, being an NLF Quarterback is the most difficult job in professional sports and the most important one. No matter what school you go to, nothing properly prepares a QB for the NFL. It takes time and it takes a O-Line to protect you and receivers who don’t drop the ball. (not too many guys can start their NFL careers like Peyton and Brady, most need a few years to get there.

You have to look at Brady, Rogers and Brees as the top of the QB mountain. Peyton was there, could possibly return. But after those three, you have Eli and Roethlisberger, then guys like Stafford, Romo and Rivers.

Now with that said, I’d wish Jets fans would lay off Sanchez and look at him objectively. Most of his numbers to start his career are very similar to Eli’s (some are even better). Was it Mark’s fault that his receivers loved to drop balls on 3rd down? Was it his fault that his punt returner loved to muff balls in the 4th quarter? Was it Marks fault that the “Best D in the NFL” were the reason for losing 6 out of their 8 losses?

You put your team in bad spots and it forced Mark to force plays that were pretty bad. Now Mark needs to get better and not get forced into the bad play, but Mark isn’t the problem on the Jets…and we shouldn’t let a malcontent, 2nd rate receiver’s bitching distort what Mark is as a player.

Thank Goodness the Giants are still playing!

That give me two less week I have to think about the Mets 2012 upcoming season! :)

  5. USMF Says:

Wait, the Mets are playing this year? I thought because the GM hasn’t done anything and that it looks like nobody is gonna by tickets, I thought they just forfeited the season.

  6. CowCrusher Says:

Sorry gang, but the G’ints belong to Joisey…..as so do the Jets…there is only one team in the great state of New York and that’s the Buffalo (Orchard Park) Bills….provided we can stop them from playing in Toronto…but that is because the CFL does not have the same cache as the NFL.

  7. CowCrusher Says:

Either way, it was a good game.

  8. Original62Fan Says:

Giant fans are nothing more than Yankee fans.

  9. Met_Maven Says:

Giant fans are classier than Yankee fans. Besides, I think fans of both teams should come together and root for the Giants. Really, who wants the Pats to win? My enemys enemy is my friend.
