Dickey Flirts with Immortality
At this point when a pitcher takes a no-no into the 7th he enters a select group of Mets who almost made history.
It would’ve been so typical Mets if the first no-hitter came in late Sept when no one was watching.
On second thought, it’s much more typical Meta the no-no was lost.
Oh well maybe today….?

I thought for sure somewhere in your post you would mention METS SWEEP PHILLIES IN DOUBLEHEADER! I don’t care if the Phillies don’t play full lineup or it’s Spring Training, that accomplishment is worth a mention.
Speaking of mentions, Duda is out for the season with dizziness from his Harvey Wallbanger routine. Ugh.

Did the Filthies play with nine guys on the field?

One more mention: Angel Dumb As A Box of Pagans has been out because he hit himself in the head with his backswing!

BJake: which just goes to prove your point about Pagan, wouldn’t you say?

Looking forward to Wally at 1B, but will miss Mookie, my condolences to his family (don’t know who passed away). I think he did a great job there, his second tour as 1B coach and I hope he comes back.
DH SWEEP, how sweet it is!!!

Oh well, getting double header sweep against the philthies is nice to have. Now let’s sweep the Reds and end the season already.
