I thought maybe him, maybe Grotefan, maybe the Lip or maybe that Somar Sotominaya or whatever that racist d-bag called himself when complaining about every black or hispanic person in the Mets organization.
BJake—I thought that too for a second. But actually I think it’s the guy who wouldn’t shut up about “Somar Sotomayor.” You know, because Omar Minaya, who can barely form a complete sentence, is easily confused with Sonya Sotomayor, who is a brilliant Chief Justice, since they are both of Hispanic heritage. And somehow that has something to do with politics (if you are the Unabomber, I suppose). Makes complete sense to me! “Dog Reyes” sounds suspiciously similar.
Sometimes I think that the internet was designed solely for 2 purposes: porn and anonymous rudeness. I can’t wait until we evolve some sort of online etiquette—if people said even a fraction of the smack they talk online to a person’s face, half the men in this country would have murdered the other half. It’s like all the crazies in the world have finally found a place where they are normal, or at least tolerated. You can always tell because they start sentences with “All you people” and other generalizations.
At least the internet allows me to listen to the game on my phone on a mountaintop where I can’t get the radio! One saving grace…
I was totally joking because Howard was convinced this team was in the WC race for a long time. It’s definitely not The Lip or GroteFan, because they would use the same monikers to stuff it in our faces.
I actually believe it’s NomoreManaya or whatever that name was, which I think is what IM was thinking.
Yeah, he made some Colin Cowherd arguments that nobody would ever be on the other side of, like saying Jerry The Jenius was terrible and the Mets brought in plenty of crap after 2008. But his biggest point was the Mets should’ve traded Reyes and Wright after 2008 which was ludicrous.
Great game today… well maybe not great, but it sure was good to be a Met fan today! Gotta cherish these Ws when we can, I don’t think we’ll be seeing a whole bunch of them in the next month. I’m going to try and make as many home games as I can before the season is over. No matter how good or bad they do, I can’t get enough baseball and the off season just seems to drag, especially when the Mets off season starts in September! Football is only once a week and hockey doesn’t do it for me all the time, and who knows when the NBA will start up. can’t wait till the roster expands and we see a preview of the Spring Training tryouts!

I don’t know anymore BJ I’ve completely lost the plot! Just living moment to moment now and “lovin every minute of it!” as Kramer would say.

Ok, so does this mean it’s NOT a night game? ;(
Good for Parnell, better for me if I had taken him off my fantasy baseball bench! Darn.
August 24th, 2011 at 5:25 pm
of course the game I don’t watch they actually win….is this a sign? Did I pay $$$ for DTV/SNY for nothing?!?!

Love that Parnell was given the opportunity and love even more that he recorded the save against the Phillies in Cit Bank Bandbox.

Wow! I missed out on all the fun. Don’t know who Common Sense is but, isn’t there a shed of truth in some of his comments? why the gang up?

I will take credit for Wright’s good day by benching him in fantasy today.
