9 Straight Home Opener Losses

The more Keith and Gary talked about it the more it boggled my mind. The Mets haven’t won an opening game in a home series all year - ALL YEAR.

I don’t know how to explain it nor do I know what to make of it…

Meanwhile what was Prince Fielder thinking stepping to Brydak? The pitcher buzzed him inside but nothing THAT bad.

Maybe Prince was muttering to himself after grounding out but Byrdak said something like WTf and Prince ran and got in his face.

Seemed like Prince was taking some other frustration out on our pitcher.

The benches emptied but nothing serious.

Great to see K-Rod lapping around with the Met pen after the non-brawl

Interesting article about K-Rod in The Post today. Among the topics, he says he would be open to pitching for the Mets again and he thinks Parnell has the stuff and the mentality to be a closer.

Actually I think it is 10 in a row and they are close to setting or tying their all time record!…Good Grief!

This home series opener stat seems fairly meaningless– it’s like looking at victories based on the uniform color chosen or the day of the week.

Dude..maybe so, but it has alot to do with a crappy home record of 25 & 33…which is a serious problem.
