Is anybody else concerned about Gee? His era has spiked from 2.86 to 4.07 since June 15. In the 9 starts over that span, he’s given up 4 runs three times and 5 runs twice. Plus, he’s given up 8 HRs during that stretch, as opposed to just 4 in his first 13 outings (9 starts). His numbers at Buffalo weren’t great so I wonder if now that players/scouts have seen enough of him at the ML level they have zoned in on how to attack him.
Just heard this on the broadcast as they updated the around the league scores for tonight: “K-Rod, his first career hit in a game, but then he left because he got hurt running to first base”
tdfkabl, I read about K-Rod’s injury in the game story. Did you see the video of Carmona nearly killing himself earlier this season running to 1st base? I know these guys don’t normally hit but getting hurt running to 1st is just ridiculous.

pretty weak 9th. gary and ron made good point– you don’t want to see high 5’s for making an out in the 9th, down a run. ah well.
