This might be when they put a pin in the Hairston-RFexperiment.

I was just thinking before about how much we could have used Chris Young this year. Kind of forgot about him.

How funny was that when they’re talking about, “of all the important people in the Padres organization”…. and the camera is on Tony Gwynn, and Gary says,
“there’s nobody bigger than Tony Gwynn.”

I don’t care what happens next, but bunting Duda with no one out here and runners on first and second was a total bone head play.

the fearsome tejada up at the plate—and he walks him. How exciting (yawn) Okay, so it worked out so far, but I can’t stand the bunt in situations like that, where you are playing for a tie.

I love this team. But I’d still never bunt Duda again!

Didn’t see the game as back on the west coast. Surprised TC asked Duda to bunt but glad to hear he executed and then they took advantage. Sure wish Parnell would get some save opps.

Bisons lost in 11……phone battery died so I missed half the fun at Shea 2.0….. Nice to see another come behind win in a row, even.
A work in progress, but a gritty one indeed.
