Damn Yankees Beat Us Again

There is very little in life I enjoy less than losing to the friggin Yankees. Sure enough despite the hot streak we’ve been on the Evil Empire defeats the good guys with relative ease.

You know when you go down 3-zip before seeing a pitch you’re in trouble. Sure enough a rough first from Niese did us in. Never mind that Niese cruised the rest of the way, the game was lost in the first.

It would’ve helped if Reyes was properly ruled safe since the Mets were about to get right back in the game.

The replay showed he was never tagged but the truth is when the throw beats you by that much you’re gonna get punched out unless you’re obviously super safe.

It was a great effort to advance to second but a VERY questionable decision to push it and try and swipe third.

Am I mad at Jose for attempting to “steal” third like that? No absolutely not. Reyes’ aggressiveness and speed have been paying dividends every single game so I can’t ask him to slow it down now — Especially when he was safe!

Of course Met Killer Jeter is out and friggin Nunez goes 4 for 4 with an RBI. Typical.

2 for 10 with runners in scoring position aint gonna get the job sone - amd sure enough it didn’t.

42,020 was the largest crowd in Citi Field history. 42,020.

4:00 start sat afternoon

The Spanks must’ve packed some Kryptonite in their bat bags `cause the Mets simply could not pull the trigger with RISP all night. What a let down…
