Capuano & Pagan Not Enough

Chris Capuano is currently our best pitcher. I don’t think you can argue against that point.

It’s a shame K-Rod blew his game but Francisco isn’t perfect so we gotta cut him some slack.

Super psyched to see Pagan return with 2 hits and a SB. If he gets back to form we’re gonna be a dangerous 1-2 at the top of the lineup.

Justin Turner banged out 4 more hits! Kid is a stud so far.

We definitely missed Ike’s glove in the 9th when Murphy couldn’t handle a ball that gave Philly the lead.

BMF is very very sorry to hear Gary Carter has brain cancer. I’ve been remiss in not mentioning it until now but the tumors are 90% malignant.

I friggin’ LOVED Kid when I was a kid and always will.

That is very sad news on Carter. Thoughts are with him & his family.

Capuano has been looking like a steal…good pickup!

Now, onto Bay aka the Human Rally Killer. Maybe we beat up on him unfairly, maybe we just need a little more patience. It’s probably not his fault he has the hefty contract…there were several teams looking for LF power when he was available and that probably bid up his price. But, if he really is an overpaid flash in the pan then for crying out loud, bat him where he deserves to be. Tejeda 7th, Pitcher 8th, Bay 9th.

Yes BJ, I am totally sick of this guy. He is an easy out, doesn’t even give a quality AB…with Ike & Wright out of the lineup, he is really becoming exposed…Bay is more irritating to watch than Frenchy was and that is saying a lot!!

Back from Wrigley field adventure! if you never have been there-put this on your bucket list, it is a MUST See….just a perfect place to watch a game!

    Crappy weather….Crappy team….Priceless!

Can’t get with the upbeat vibe today BMF. This was yet another example of defeat snatched from the jaws of victory. Classic example of what separates these two teams: one knows how to win, the other… well, you know.

And the Phills gave us plenty of chances with their defensive lapses. If we can’t win those, what chance do we have against their aces (plural).

    A sweep wouldn’t surprise me.

We did NOT lose that game, Phillies won it fair and square.
One of the best games I’ve watched this year, have to say.
The game of inches got us this time, instead of the other way around.

Again, loving the steady improvement of Cappy. And all his other intangibles…

I’m with BMF. Let’s stick with the positives as this is our rebuilding year.

You just knew that K-Rod would pitch his first bad game in the game that mattered the most.

How does Bay live with himself making over 18mil a year? Has there ever been a worse contract. Bay and Zito are neck and neck for that distinction.

Lets just put Bay on the bench already. Aren’t we trying to win???

Howard, would you beless disappointed in KRod if he blew a game against the Dodgers or Cubs or Nats? He’s been lights out for a while now, he was due for a bad outing and he’ll bounce back. Granted I hate that the bad outing came against the philthies, but its going to happen. I think Collins should have kept CC in. He was doing good and who knows he could have gotten a W.

As for bay, I cant figure out how he did so good with the Pirates and Sox and became mediocre when we signed him. I’d drop him to 8th and see if that helps any. Benching him won’t do any good as he defense is solid.

We won’t get swept, I have a feeling we could win the next 2 games…. or at least one of the 3.

Lastly, my thoughts and prayers are with Gary Carter and his family. The Kid was my favorite Met growing up. My girlfriends mother is a breast cancer survivor and that was a difficult time. I can only imagine how the Carter family is handling this. Thankfully he can afford the best doctors and is in excellent condition, which helps a lot. I’m praying for a safe and speedy recovery.

I am so sad to hear about Gary. Really hope he can beat this.

  8. Does Howard Dislike Bay? Says:

Howard, I think you should post your feelings about Bay more often so we can figure out how you really feel about him

    One tonight against the Phillies

There is still time for us to be out of it by Memorial Day!

If we are 10 games out does that qualify as meaningless games?

When is the right time to unload salary?

    Capuano? trade him!
