Down Goes Dickey

I knocked RA a couple weeks back saying the “lightening was out of the bottle” but then he looked good again. Too bad we just lost him with a bizarre heel injury that seemed to come out of nowhere.

He felt a burning sensation in his heel but the Mets don’t think he’s got a torn ACL. Hmmmmm sorta sounds like something tore but what the Hell do I know. Guess we need to wait and see…

It’d be a shame to lose him but it would be a sustainable loss.

Pedro Beato took the ball the moment Dickey limped off and although Beato got knocked around BMF remains unconcerned.  Beato is a Rule5 guy and Rule5 guys don’t go all season without giving up runs.

Plus he’s gotta face adversity to grow so why not let him get it out of his system now.

Here’s Angel

Pagan is back and boy do we need him. I trust Angel can get back to last year’s groove and I’m much more motivated to watch him as opposed to Pridie.

I wouldn’t be shocked if the Mets rose up and won some game this weekend bs Philly

Damn !!! Another one bites the dust…. Lets go Mets !!! Lets take two out of three from the Phillies- BTW- I like the Phillies winning the whole thing this year- they have the four aces and play the game the right way.

So based on a 162 game season, Jason Bay is on pace for about 45 RBI’s. That means that he is earning about $402,000 per each RBI. Remember the next time he knocks in one although you better watch every inning of every game to actually see that happen.

Did anyone see my post a few days ago? I want to see if anyone wanted to enter into a pool to pick who would have more RBI’s at the end of the season between Bay, Frankie Rodriguez, and Mike Pelphrey. I am leaning toward Pelph as of right now.

Howard, I’m a little confused. Do you like Jason Bay or not? I can’t tell based on your posts every day.

no names mentioned but i wonder that when a free agent inks a mega bucks contract and turns out to be a dud, just why there isn’t some type of escape clause in the contract giving both the team as well as the player an opportunity to opt out and save everyone concerned a bunch of embarassment.
