I know I’m getting a little ahead of myself, but if Gee goes the distance, I actually want him to give up another hit. Otherwise it would be 2 years in row where a met has thrown a 1-hitter and the only hit given up came from the opposing pitcher!!!! (Hamels off Dickey I think?)
FMFR: Forget this “Battle of the Basement” stuff– the Mets go in to play this weekend with more wins than 11 other teams in MLB, only one less win than the Yanks themselves, winners of two straight shutouts.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m having a lot of fun watching this club.

No such thing as jinxing. And bravo to Gary for doing his job and keeping the viewers infomed.

Seeing JT at third reminds me of watching Wayne Garrett over there way back in the day. http://www.baseball-reference.com/bullpen/Wayne_Garrett

9 out of 13, not too shabby. Put the rest of the NL on notice, here we come!!
honestly, if we can take 2-3 from the Skanks and be a respectable .500 at Memorial Day, I would’ve signed up for that in a heat beat.
Now if only Bay would start hitting his weight.

IM, of course there are jinkes and if you are watching and don’t know it’s a no hitter who the f**k cares about you.
